Who’s behind Happy Paying Customers?

Hi, I am Sweta. 

I am a veteran in the b2b/b2c SaaS industry and career marketer. I am a go-to-market expert specializing in the 0 to $1M stage. My background cuts across marketing, tech startups, and mission-driven work. 

  • I was the first marketing hire at 2 startups where I led go-to-market and growth. I joined a bootstrapped startup when it was pre-revenue, and another startup pre-product so I am a rare marketer who has worked at the true $0 stage.

  • I also worked at a startup that IPO-ed while I was there. I started my career managing a massive email program that generated $40 million in revenue per year.

After 15+ years of working with early-stage startups, I discovered my mission: helping underestimated tech, or tech-enabled startup founders get their first 100 Happy Paying Customers so they can build thriving businesses on their terms. I do this through my high-value membership program, Founder-Led Marketing Club (FLMC).

As an underestimated founder myself, I am now a champion for other underestimated founders on their journey to their first $1M. I see a world where these ambitious, kind founders have the clarity, confidence, and know-how to build multi-million dollar businesses on their terms. I firmly believe the best way to de-risk a business is to get Happy Paying Customers using go-to-market micro-tests. I am passionate about supporting underestimated founders in building a customer-funded business that generates life-changing wealth for them.

On a personal note, I’m based in Austin, Texas, USA but always have a suitcase packed. I was born and raised in Mumbai and had the pleasure of calling NYC home for 10+ years. I will easily pick traveling over almost anything else, besides spending time with my closest friends & family. I’m also angel investing in mission-driven tech startups with multi-million dollar potential, particularly interested in underestimated founders chasing profitability (not unicorn status).
