TL;DR

Linda is a talented engineer turned product manager turned founder. She came to Sweta looking for a structured and scientific approach to develop (and iterate) her go-to-market that felt true to her.

“I wanted to find a consistent sales and marketing routine that I wouldn’t burn out of and could keep on doing forever. Something that felt true to me. Sweta’s bootcamp provided me with a structured GTM approach that soothed my process-driven brain.”

Founder’s Wins

  • Linda’s got clarity about her customer segment and positioning.

  • She’s confidently micro-testing her pricing and playbook.

  • And, she already closed a deal with a dream client: a key player in her industry that’s a household name.

 Linda’s Story

“I’m a technical founder and a recovering straight-A student. Here’s a moment from my school days that I’ve often re-lived…

I think of a joke and I tell Kyle, the class clown sitting next to me. He thinks it’s funny, too, and repeats it for the class to hear. My classmates erupt in laughter. I feel a mix of emotions: pride that MY joke got the laughs; a bit sad that I wasn’t brave enough to tell it aloud.

This was a symbiotic relationship: Kyle amplified my message, and we paired up on group projects so that he’d have an easier time academically. When it came to presenting our projects, Kyle would do most of the talking, hamming it up, and I’d smile along, answering detailed follow-up questions from the audience. When the speaking portion is 50% of the grade, or having a popular ally meant middle school survival, this was a no-brainer business deal.

I can still spot these types from a mile away. They’re usually quite successful now in their careers, which often include an interpersonal aspect to the job. I get along with them well, and they seem to recognize me from their past, too.

It’s been decades now of whispering my jokes to others to amplify — and I was tired of playing small. I didn’t need to be as captivating as the class clown. I just wanted to be able to hold my own, and present my own work as if I were completely proud of it, because I am.”

Linda’s Founder-Led Marketing Club Experience

I wanted to work with Sweta because she understood where I was coming from. There’s a lot of well-meaning sales and marketing tactics online, but I was unsure that I could execute on them as well as their authors, who seem to be more like “Kyles” than “Lindas.” Most importantly, I wanted to find a consistent sales and marketing routine that I wouldn’t burn out of and could keep on doing forever. Something that felt true to me.

Her bootcamp provided me with a structured GTM approach that soothed my process-driven brain. In a small-group setting, it was so helpful to see everyone else’s “behind the scenes” and not just the “highlight reel” that we get when grabbing coffee with other founders, intentionally framed or not.

If you haven’t yet figured everything out sales and marketing-wise as a technical founder, and if you’re ready to fully own your work, I highly recommend working with Sweta, whether in a small-group or 1:1 capacity.”
